科研概述：

This program is designed to provide an overview and a solid understanding of Communication research. Students will be introduced to main sub-areas in the field of Communication through a review of both classic and cutting-edge studies. Research methods will also be discussed. In addition to attending lectures and participating in seminar discussions, students are also expected to develop their own research proposals under the guidance of the instructor, or involve in a research project lead by the instructor.

At the end of the program, students will be familiar with major research areas and topics in the discipline, and also be capable of developing a research proposal, which includes defining a research question, reviewing relevant literature, choosing the appropriate methods, and making plans for collecting and analyzing data.

This is an introductory program that focuses on preparing students for further research in the field of Communication, rather than on in-depth investigation into a specific area. Students from all academic backgrounds are welcome.
